Why do I have to do work when it's so nice and sunny?

Well, it's been a few days since I've posted. I've still been feeling sick the last few days with a head cold but haven't been able to really stop and get well. Sunday was a busy day with church (I'll have to talk about that later- it was a neat "service"!), and watching softball practice (some people from church are in a league- Amanda and I are the "Scorekeepers/Babysitters":)), and then I headed to High River with Amanda and Peter for the bible study. I had never been to High River before and it was a beautiful drive. I enjoyed the bible study; it was very laidback which I like and it's going to give me a chance to get to know some of the other people in church. I still feel like a bit of a visitor- not sure why but I hope now that I have a bit more time I can get more involved. When I arrived home, I got to go for a walk with Heidi (my walking buddy who has since left for the Rock. I'll miss our walks, Heidi!:)). Monday, I worked at home on some thesis stuff and had to head to Walmart to pick up some stuff. Yesterday, I came down to the office to work on my last assessment report for my practicum (Yes, I am done classes, but had a case that has continued past that I have to complete) and spent the evening working on thesis stuff again. I have a meeting tomorrow with my supervisor so I need to have all of the data entered. Today, I am again at the office working on the report (had to go see the kid again to do a couple of extra things this morning) and will be going to the African Children's Choir and the jazz club tonight. Will likely be up late afterwards to finish the thesis stuff. So, to say the least, it has been a busy week. Hopefully, I will feel better soon. I will write in the next few days to tell you how everything goes this evening.
